Agnetha Faltskog

Agnetha faltskog, best known in her career as a soloist from Sweden. But, she'll forever be remembered for her role as a one of the original members of ABBA which is the most popular and successful commercial pop band. As a teenager, she quit school, Agnetha Faltskog began singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt which quickly gained a following. The singer was signed to a record deal with Enghardt. Her debut single topped the charts in Sweden. Bjornulvaeus later married, became her partner as she joined ABBA. ABBA was to be one of the most popular pop groups in the world during the subsequent 8 years. They were awarded numerous prizes such as platinum and gold around the world. Following ABBA's release, she released three albums -'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' and 'Eyes of a Lady as well as 'I stand alone'. All having enjoyed great acclaim in Sweden and gained acclaim throughout Europe too, but they did not make a huge impact in the U.S. When the 1980s wound to a close her career took an officially-resigned retirement. ABBA music was the inspiration for a jukebox show called Mamma Mia!. Her album 'My Coloring Book,' which peaked at number 11 in the UK charts and was released after she stepped out of retirement.
